In the UK and France, building own mobile apps was the number one area that retailers invested in the last 12 months at 68 percent. Retail technologies such as geofencing, Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AR) were also up and coming for 43, 37 and 27 percent of UK and French retailers respectively.
